Antoine Robles
Mantry, Jura

While 2026 marks only the third vintage for Antoine Robles, the fervor for his wines has remained at a fever pitch since before he even began releasing his bottles in 2025. After spending time with Robles, it’s easy to understand why—hIs wines are ripe yet lithe, and full of a giving and youthful energy just like Antoine himself. A native of Doubs, Robles worked for Antoine Lienhardt in Burgundy before installing his own domaine in Mantry, about 20 minutes south of Arbois. It’s here in a very unexpected industrial domicile where Robles takes his Bourgogne pedigree and turns it into something much more relevant, alive and robust; a vision of the Jura that stays rooted and yet looks to the future in excitingly improvised ways. Antoine grows Savagnin, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Poulsard and Trousseau in the Clos des Vallières, a 3.5 hectare parcel that produces wines that feel both grand and yet completely unpretentious. These joyous wines are a stark contrast to the many self-serious bottles one can easily find elsewhere in the Jura.

It was with truly good fortune that we first met Antoine after a dinner over shared bottles in Grozon earlier this year, and with much grace he invited us to taste the next day. We hadn’t even shipped one wine at this point, and yet it didn’t matter to him. The mutual respect and love for natural wine between two upstarts was clear. We are beyond grateful to be working with his bottles.
