l’Absurde Génie des Fleurs

Bédarieux, France

Freshies now in from the inimitable Languedoc-based duo of Miha Trifa and Tom Gautier. After the hotter 2022 vintage, 23 marks a bit of a return to the more old-school and lighter styles that we’ve come to expect from the artful and free spirited pair, in which every year a flurry of thirst-quenching cuvées get dropped. Of particular note this time around is the potion-like Delta+, a new lightly macerated cuvée that is a blend of Chardonnay, Terret Gris and Terret Blanc—special stuff indeed. We’ve also grabbed a few bottles of Delta 2023 and Adiere 2023 from the cellar, respectively.
