After all of these years spent as both amateurs and professionals, we continue to be inspired by natural wine; how it makes us feel (high), what it can do to our own ways of seeing the world, and perhaps most importantly how it brings people together.

Val Frison / De Marne

Thomas de Marne now runs the program at Val Frison, which has changed its name to Champagne Thomas De Marne, while his mother Valérie still oversees. Known to be a leading light in natural Champagne vinifications, and with her longstanding collaboration with Dominique Derain, Frison’s son De Marne has his work cut out for him, but the results are already here. Holistique, which was formerly known as Portlandia is a pitch perfect blend of 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay, from both Portlandian and Kimmeridgian soils; a special bottle to ring out the last week of the year.
