(Roussillon, France)

Tom Lubbe and his wife Nathalie are the pair responsible for Matassa, a now iconic domaine located in Calce in the Roussillon. At this point Matassa has reached critical mass within the natural wine world, but that doesn’t mean that quality has changed. On the contrary, Tom and Nathalie continue to produce beautifully lively and silken southern expressions from dynamic terroir of some of our favorite grapes: Macabeu, Muscat, Carignan, Grenache, etc ... and as these wines get more and more limited every year, we are lucky to have a small amount of their goods now in stock, including Rollaball, the first rosé (in classic direct press style) that the domaine has ever produced—a little ray of sunshine as we head into the fall.
